Manufacturing freight in Brisbane
A missing part can stop a line. The request is for a direct pickup from the supplier and a drop at the plant.
Goods this page covers
Typical freight includes machined components, tooling, fasteners and production consumables. Prohibited goods on the exclusions page cannot be booked.
Handling
Tell us the weight, whether it is palletised, and if the dock needs a forklift or tail lift.
How a request works
A request is not a confirmed booking. Collection and transit depend on a vehicle, the freight and a carrier accepting the job. The calculator asks for size and weight because those facts decide whether a van rate applies.
Location
Brisbane, QLD 4000, Brisbane. Brisbane CBD, the airport and the port are different jobs. A Gold Coast address is not automatically included.
Questions
- Is the price confirmed?
- No. The calculator shows an estimate from the current rules. A confirmed price is a figure dispatch has authorised.
- Can I pay the estimate?
- You can pay the server-calculated estimate by card or PayPal, or email the request to dispatch@emergencyfreightaustralia.com.au. Paying the estimate does not confirm that a vehicle is free.
