GST and invoices

The rate card records whether prices include GST, whether the business is registered, and the rate. The calculator and the invoice use that setting. They do not invent a tax status.

If the business is registered and prices exclude GST, the quote shows the GST and the total payable. The tax invoice uses the same figures.

If the business is not registered, GST is not added and the invoice says GST is not applicable.

An ABN is shown in the site footer only when it has been configured. A blank ABN means it has not been entered. It is not a substitute for checking.
